Description: Very sweet Capodimonte porcelain box with brass detailing, hinges at latch and a cherub theme. I believe this box was made in France. The box measures 3.4" x 2.6" and is about 1.2" tall. The brass has some very pretty detailing, the hinges are in great shape and the box opens and closes nicely. The procelain is damaged, at some point the porcelain top cracked and was repaired quite nicely overall, there are a couple small chips with in the repair that were not glued back. Around the rim of the box there is some sort of (grout?) between the brass and porcelain some of it is worn and some missing. Despite these imperfections it is still a very lovely box. Please check photos carefully for the condition as it is part of the description.
