Description: CONDITION: Excellent This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Trenton, New Jersey by Ceramic Art Company Lenox between 1894 and 1906. This is a transitional mark when Ceramic Art Company was changing to Lenox. The cup and saucer was made especially for Bailey, Banks and Biddle of Philadelphia. The saucer has a diameter of 5 ¼ inches and the cup is 2 ¼ inches high. The porcelain is molded and contoured in a graceful shape. There is a raised, gilded cartouche on the cup with tiny raised enamel flowers. The gilding continues around the cup and is repeated on the saucer. There are raised turquoise beads or jewels around the borders. The color of the porcelain is cream with a slight variation of light to slightly darker hue. The rims and handle are trimmed with gold. #C166 IMPORTANT: PLEASE DO NOT PAY until you have purchased all the items you plan to bid on.
