Description: Antique late 19c Exceptional SEVRES Style Porcelain Mantle Clock Signed PETIT. Beautiful painted gallant & woman scene on French porcelain with ormolu mounts with signature Petit on bottom right in the front, this is Jacob Petit(1796-1868). Includes pendulum with matching numbers of the movement (#4982/48) but no key. I did test cranked the gears couple of turns and clock seemed to work fine, that’s as far as I went with testing. Marked on the inner bottom of the porcelain is #1020 as seen in picture. There is crazing on the painted scene and the porcelain pillars. 10 1/4”H x 11”W x 5 1/4”D Item: 279-25
