Description: Gorgeous large, framed printed lithograph memorial remembrance on the death of an American child. This large original 1901 litho measures 20" by 16" and is in it's original wood and gesso gold antique frame.Overall framed measurements are 22 1/2" by 18 1/2".It begins at the top with 2 pair of angels trumpeting the announcement: IN LOVING REMEMBRANCE OF OUR BELOVED The Golden Gates Were Opened Wide, A Gentle Voice Said "Come!" And Angels from the other Side welcomed our loved one home. Eva Louise Brose Born April 3rd, 1911 Died July 4th, 1913 Age 2 years 3 months 1 day We had a little treasure once, she was our joy and pride We loved her ah, perhaps too well, for soon she slept and died. All is dark within our dwelling, Lonely are our hearts today, for the one we loved so dearly, Has forever passed away. WOW! Such beautifully sad words for this wordlessly sad occasion. (I cry as I type it)Printed in the bottom right corner: COPYRIGHTED BY H.M. CORY CHICAGO, 1901. This memorial has been well cared for and is inn good antique condition. There was a bit of damage to the gesso on the frame where I touched it up a bit. The original wavy glass in included along with the frame. Printed and framed in the Midwestern United States. Eva Louise Brose was born and died in Round Grove, Indiana.Carefully boxed.Thank you
