All items guaranteed to be vintage and original. ITEM DESCRIPTION: Rarely offered! POPPING THE QUESTION is a card game made by Adams & Co., Boston, dated 1868. The game is complete with 30 blue cards, 30 brown cards, and the whole original box. The instructions are inside the box lid. The the condition of the cards is incredible - overall Excellent+++ with absolutely minimal corner wear. Both lid and bottom of the box are complete. The box lid has some light surface wear and one split corner. The other three corners and all sides are solid, so the top still firmly holds it shape. The bottom of the box has four split corners, one with more damage than the others. However, because the game has been stored for decades with the lid in place, the bottom still holds it's shape nicely, even when standing alone with the lid removed. It should be handled carefully, but it's not falling apart. There have been no repairs or restoration, and I will be leaving it as found. I've posted plenty of photos.
