We ship several times a week and your prompt payment will hasten the turn-around time. This style of tall slender wine bottle is referred to as a 'HOCK WINE' bottle. They have a small pushed up base so that natural sediments can settle around this push up which would prevent the sediment from funneling out the bottle when being poured. This example was found under a building in old Butte Montana and it still retained the foil sleeve around the top of the neck that was color imprinted on it. This example is a beautiful deep reddish-amber color, has some swirls in the glass and it was blown in a turn mold, which was a bottle mold that was turned or spun while glass was still pliable, to give the bottle a very sparkling lustrous finish, beautiful. So this ( 1760 SCHULZ & WAGNER WINE Frankfurt A.M. Germany NIERSTEINER ) wine, is one type of wines that were being consumed in early day Butte, over 100 years ago. Do any readers have any input about this wine or bottle? As mentioned, we still have a few others in varying states of deterioration, w/ embossed foils, labels, etc. and am eager to dispose of these as well. Only so many of these antique bottles with ORIGINAL PAPER LABELS have survived the elements of time, so they are a finite item, and once these are sold, that's it, check it out!Terms of Sale: Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction.
