This makes the stickers waterproof and are better suited for items that may see repeated water exposure (i.e. Coffee Tumblers). The pigment dye we use is still Eco-friendly which means no solvents are used. Our stickers are great for coffee tumblers, clip boards, tool boxes, hard hats, etc. but are not suited for vehicle applications due to the heavy UV light exposure which fades the stickers. The lamination slows this fading process but when exposed constantly the sticker will still fade over time so we do not recommend placing them on your vehicles. We have also included a new size of 1.5" which is better suited for hard hats due to the curvature of the hat and these stickers being more rigid. The 1.5" allows for a cleaner look and it's smaller size allows for more stickers. Measurements are made on the longest side of the sticker from top to bottom or side to side. All decals over time break down from sun and water exposure, the lamination slows this process. Non-laminated decals are perfect for indoor use or light outdoor where constant exposure to sun and water are not going to be a factor. Lamination does not stop chemicals from breaking the decal down and acids, caustics, surfactants etc. will cause damage to the decals.
