Description: I am selling an original Alec horn and Altec driver now the driver itself what I have noticed is it does not work although I did briefly get a little sound out of it so it makes me think that something is loose or is grounded out against the housing or may just be a loose connection but to be safe bet it’s probably gonna need a new diaphragm for the driver. The driver is not rusted out is in very good shape. This 10 lead me to believe that it is still possibly working. I may go ahead and pull it apart when I got a second and check it out but the auction or the purchase either way on this is gonna be for the set the wood piece will be removed and the rest of will be shipped off as you see it. This probably would’ve been part of the voice of the theater series if I had to guess because this looks like this was possibly mounted on top of a sub cabinet this would not have been outdoors, but then again, who knows the fact that the original tag is still attached to the horn blows my mind anyway enough of the talking now if you want it, feel free to buy it shipping will not be free on thisso (please note unless you plan on paying this shipping cost on this I will not be shipping this item to the West Coast due to the high cost of shipping. It always runs me about us anywhere from $80 on upwards of $120 to pending out the item is or how heavy the item is and I’m not losing money on this horn and driver. I’m only trying to get my money back out of it, but I’ve got invested in it.)
