This collar provides the threads for Aladdin glass lamps that have damaged or missing threaded collars. I have found they will even attach to glass necks that are partially broken off. You can then screw on a new fuel filler cap. These threads accept the new N120B and N120N Aladdin fill caps, as well as vintage Aladdin fill caps. INSTALLATION If the old threaded collar is damaged but still well glued on, you need to remove it. Try a Dremel with a cutting wheel to cut the old brass collar but be careful not to let the cutting wheel touch the glass font top. Then use pliers to peel off the damaged threaded collar. To install, use a wire brush to remove the old white glue that is loose or excessive. It doesn’t need to be perfect as the new collar will hide the old white glue. Test fit the new collar to make sure it fits. Use glue that is rated for metal and glass. A 2-part epoxy syringe with a pointed tip is ideal.
