Description: Yellow Gold with Brown accents/undertones pottery pitcher from the Aegitna Studio in Vallauris, France. The Aegitna Studio was established in 1920 by Placide Joseph Saltalamacchia who worked there until 1977 when his son took over. I'm unsure of the age of this specific piece but suspect it is vintage from the 1950s based on other pieces I see in online searches. As noted in the condition description, there is a split in the clay at the spout that is under the glaze so has been there all along. It is otherwise free of chips, cracks or repairs. Measures: 7 1/4 inches High and ~ 7 1/2 inches Wide (including the Handle). Weight is 2.4 lbs. Will hold 48 fl. oz.
