Description: Vintage 7" Red Vinyl - Lot #58 - RCA Victor Red Seal - featuring Jimmy Durante, Helen Traubel, Jose Iturbi and the Boston Pops Orchestra with Arthur Fiedler Comments: The records were all fully play-tested after cleaning. All of the sides play well and are easy to enjoy. Record Condition (for the eyes): Visually, the records are all in good looking high-end VG condition with light surface scuffs. Further condition details can be found in the list of titles below. Record Condition (for the ears): The music sounded great on all of these records. Record surface noise levels were generally heard as mild crackle with occasional light ticks. In no case was surface noise overpowering or a significant distraction. The music prevails. There were no skips or sticks of course. Record Labels Condition: The labels are good looking with not much wear, although there is some wear at the spindle hole on the "Song Fest" record. There isn't any writing or stickers on any of the labels. Here is what is on the records. (I don't know the exact year of issue for any of these, but estimate they were all issued around 1950.):Jimmy Durante and Helen Traubel - The Song's Gotta Come From The Heart / A Real Piano Player - Excellent sound quality with mild background record surface crackle.Boston Pops Orchestra, Arthur Fiedler, Conductor - Song Fest (see record labels for titles incorporated into these medleys of early 20th century popular songs) - Mild background record surface noise underneath music reproduced with great sound quality.Jose Iturbi - (Chopin) Etude In C Minor, Op. 10, No. 12 ("Revolutionary") / (Saint-Saens) Allegro Appassionato, Op. 70 (concluded) -Great sound quality over mild background record surface crackle with light ticks. This record is disc one of a two record set called "Jose Iturbi Plays That Midnight Kiss Music".Sleeve Type and condition: The records are housed in white paper sleeves that are in good shape with a little wear.
