68-70 350 SBC Small Block Chevrolet 041 Heads 3947041 Camaro SS J178 & J218

Description: ***READ*** used bare set of 68-70 chevrolet sbc 350ss camaro, etc 041 cylinder heads. These are not the "X" corvette heads. part numbers are 3947041 on both. I believe they are a matched set with the date codes being so close to each other. One is J178 (october 17, 1968) and the other is J218 (october 21, 1968). They look to be in really nice not-rusty shape overall. They are bare. They look to have stock valve sizes at 1.94 intake and 1.5 exhaust which as we all know, any competent machine shop can increase. I got these from a machine shop that was closing locally to me where friends/family were allowed to come pick first before everything went to auction. They have been sitting there for years in their personal stash. I do NOT know the history of them nor the condition so they are sold as rebuildable cores only. final fitment research is up to the buyer. sold as-is where-is since used. buyer pays calculated shipping on this. ***SHIPPING***these will be packed into a single box, they will be wrapped in plastic trash bags and taped together with cardboard separating them. then the box will be foam filled. please allow 2-3 days from time of purchase for the foam to properly cure for shipping. I have used this method for several several sets of cylinder heads and it works nicely for helping to keep shipping costs down for the buyer...and stop heavy items from sloshing around in boxes when the shipping company ultimately plays football with them. I reserve final choice of shipping. lately fedex has been cheapest and I hate using UPS as they do actually play football with packages...but, that being said, the ebay shipping discount calculator has lately been trying to send things fedex smart post which, cylinder heads greatly exceed the weight/dimensions of...thus. I will ship UPS if need be so things do not get returned and I will eat the additional cost if need be, no worries. if you are NOT comfortable with this, please do NOT bid. thank you.
