Description: There are (6) triangle arrowhead point blades in this lot. (4) Cottonwood Points measuring .75" long. They were used during the Developmental to Historic time frame (900-200 BP). Some identify them as Apache points, though they were also found among Paiute and Chumash cultures in Arizona, California, New Mexico, Colorado and Utah regions. (1) Elk Garden Point measuring 1.75" long. This spectacular ultra-thin blade is light tan chert and is very finely flaked. Perfect in quality and symmetry. West Virginia, Tennessee and Kentucky were home base for this one in the 2,000-1,300 BP era. (1) Hamilton Triangle point measuring 1.05" long. Used in the 1,600-1,000 BP time frame in the Tennessee River Valley now Alabama and Tennessee. This point is finely flaked, has some nips on one edge, and a gorgeous medium caramel color.
