Description: Five rare, monogrammed, silver spoons from one of the John P. Harding restaurants in Chicago. They belonged to my grandmother and their age is estimated. The John P. Harding Restaurant Company was started in 1928 and according to a biography, there were 12 restaurants in the Chicago area at the time of his death in 1943. The backs of the spoons have wear spots (please see photos). These would make a nice addition to any restaurant/hotel ware collection, a Chicago collection, or could be used everyday as part of creative, mismatched silver settings.
