Description: 1940s Chocolate Brown Western Shirt LS Rayon Gabardine Dagger Collar Approximate size Medium The label has been removed, but the shirt is an original from the late 1930s to early 1940s in approximately size Medium with a chest size of 46 inches. FABRIC tags missing. Believe it to be rayon gabardine Western styled chocolate Brown gabardine shirt. (Photo #4 is best representation of the color). Celluloid shank buttons. Large center back box pleat and side gussets. Dagger point collar. Two patch pockets with asymmetric buttoning flaps and three-button cuffs, all done up with the same matching shank buttons that button-up the shirt. CONDITION: Good vintage condition. Has the following flaws: some fabric scarring on upper front; Armhole double stitched seam frayed on right front; small flecks of green paint on the sleeves and one of the 3” wide cuffs (please see the numerous dime photos to further assess condition) MEASUREMENTS Measured with GARMENT flat and unstretched.
