Description: Lot of 3-ZANESVILLE, OHIO Decorative Blue & White Spongeware TILE - Stoneware Fireplace These exquisite 6" X 6" Vintage, Cobalt Blues and White tile are RARE and very hard to find. The tile is elaborately embossed with a scroll design and measures 6" X 6". It's in excellent condition with a very tiny nick in the very center & on the corner edge, both obscure & noted for accuracy. The underside is embossed with the maker's name "A. E. TILING CO. LIMITED." The firm, American Encaustic Tiling Co., was located in Zanesville, Ohio & produced from 1880 - 1935. In very good condition for the age.
