I used for holiday dinners, especially Thanksgiving, so there are utensil scratches as anyone who has used Armetale knows happens. 2 of the bowls are glossy and 1 I believe was matte. I have served both hot and cold dishes in them. I purchased most of my Armetale in the 1970's and have had for a very long time. I don't do entertaining like I used to, so it's time to go. Most people list as pewter, but they are not. Designed and crafted by hand, these beautiful products were made to last a lifetime. Made of Armetale metal, which is an aluminum-based alloy metal, that is 100% recycled, and food-safe. This piece will not rust, break, crack, or chip under normal usage. When carefully wrapped and boxed for mailing item weighs approx. 8 lbs. and will be mailed in a 12x12x12" box. I offer both USPS Ground Advantage & FedEx Home Delivery.
