Description: 28mm Warlord Games Hail Caesar Early Imperial Roman Legionaries I, Opened, This listing is for a box of 28mm Imperial Roman Legionaries from Warlord Games (Hail Caesar). What you see is what you get, please look carefully through all the pictures. Included in this listing is the box, three sprues containing 20 legionaries and the Scorpion catapult and two crew members, and a transfer sheet. No bases included. The box itself is quite damaged: from what I could tell, it's slightly flattened and it bends out on the top and bottom. The corners are all very worn, with some tears on almost all of them and some nasty tears along the left side on the front of the box. Furthermore, there's the beginning of the tear in the middle of the left side on the front and the top is becoming undone on the top left corner on the back. Lastly, there's a pretty huge crease on the flap on the left side and a significant crease on one of the tabs that flips out on the right side. Overall, the box is in bad condition so don't buy this if that is important to you. The figures themselves, however, seem to be in good condition, I didn't notice any damage or missing parts. The decal sheet has a slightly bent corner. Please be the judge of this though and look through the pictures. This was bought years ago when my Dad got me into the Cato and Macro (I think that's how it's spelled) historical fiction series and I wanted to make a cohort or similar sized formation of Roman legionaries. However, this project was sidelined, in favor of Napoleonics I believe, and I never got around to painting these. While I'm still interested in Romans and Ancients wargaming, I know that they'll be sidelined again (for Black Templars this time) and I won't get around to doing these for a while, if ever. I want these to go to someone who will actually paint and game with them. This is the first of three sets of Roman Legionaries. The box of this one is by far in the worst shape and has the fewest models (20 + 2 crew compared to 30 legionaries in the others). This was considered into the price however so proceed as you will. Comes from a smoke free but not pet free (cat) home. Has mainly sat in storage but was brought out into the open recently while it was photographed and while I was putting up other items. This may have been involved in a move from one continent to another which may have been the reason for the wear but I'm not certain.
