Description: Vintage Japanese Style Decorative Plates Scalloped Loop Edges Made in Japan.. These are a set of 2 made in Japan China plates, they are signed by some artist, IRIS..I have no idea who that was. They are dated 1961. I personally have owned these plates since 1982. So I can attest their age from that date. These are really beautiful, In excellent condition. SCALLOPED edges with eye loops opening around entire plate. These are not hand painted, I assume someone in 1961 did them for a art class. They are roughly 10.5 inches across.
