Despite the seller having done nothing wrong, eBay will penalize (and profit even more) by increasing already high listing and final transaction fees, lower the sellers ranking so when buyers initiate a search the seller's item is VERY far down the list of responses and eBay forbids sellers from promoting their items for sale.
