This is a first American edition first printing published by the Viking Press in 1990. This copy is in truly excellent condition. The binding of this large book is square and tight and immaculate throughout. This copy has a remainder mark across the bottom page block as shown. The beige boards are extremely clean but for one small spot on the rear board as shown in the last photo. The brown cloth spine and mint green gilt lettering is bright and beautiful as shown. The rear board has a very minor “bump” hardly worth mentioning but I try to mention everything. The dust jacket is complete and has the original price present on the front flap also as shown in the photos provided. There is little wear but for some corner wear at the top of the rear panel. The jacket comes in a Mylar protector which can easily be removed should you wish to.
