Description: Please view all photos. This childs seat pull along is very old, from the hardware used and wooden wheels, it's estimated mid-1800s as it doesn't appear to have any square nailing. The maker used metal pins to keep wheels in place and it still functions as a pull along (notice the hole in the front where a rope would've been years ago). There is a patina finish on it which could be natural. If someone applied a patina finish in the last 100 years, they'd did an excellent job because it looks very real. A very old piece that I wish I had more information on. It's definitely historical and I have only found one other that is even comes close. I'm assuming, someone made this for their young toddler child to pull along while walking or as scooting toy.
