Description: 1987 Galaxy Milk Glass Mug Happy Fathers Day, Bonanza Family Steak Restaurant This vintage 1987 milk glass coffee mug features "Bonanza - Steak, Chicken, Seafood, Salad" and "Happy Father's Day, 1987" in red. The base reads, "Ovenproof, Galaxy, Made in Mexico, 23". Ponderosa Steakhouses was a chain of buffet/steakhouse restaurants based in Plano, Texas. Its menu includes steaks, seafood, and chicken entrées, all of which come with their buffet. Back in 1963 Dan Blocker, who played Eric Cartright on Bonanza, opened up the first Bonanza restaurant in Westport, Connecticut. By 1989 the restaurant chain had over 600 restaurants located across the United States, serving up top sirloin and ribeye steaks for hungry customers. In 1997 the chain was bought by parent company Metromedia Family Steakhouses. In 2008 the company filed for bankruptcy and today, only around 5 restaurants remain open, Measurements: 4.25" Wide x 3" Deep x 3.5" Tall Condition: Excellent condition.
