Description: I have for sale a French medal for the 27th International Congress Of Physiological Sciences that was held in Paris in 1977. The medal is bronze, it is 2 1/2 by 2 inches and its in a high grade circulated condition. Paul Richer was the medalists and it was struck at the Paris mint. On the scene side of the medal, it shows a man sitting at a desk with several implements and books around. Above the man it shows horses and men running and birds flying. On the other side in French, it reads 27eme CONGRES INTERNATIONAL - DES SCIENCES PHYSIOLOGIQUES - PARIS 1977 - E.J. MAREY.
