The publication of it began in 1924, then named the Daily Worker. The Daily World, official successor to the Daily Worker, was a Marxist, Communist, and American leftist national daily news publication and official organ of the Communist Party, USA. It was Founded by activists, socialists, communists, and those active in the labor movement in the early 1900s. The Daily Worker, first published in 1924, became known as the Daily World in 1968. The People’s World is the current Communist Party publication, resulting from a result of a merger between the Daily World and the West Coast weekly paper People's Daily World in 1986.
