1973 Chevrolet Camaro RS Split Bumper Z28 Resto Mod

Description: I'm selling my beautiful 1973 Chevy Camaro RS Split Bumper Resto Mod Z28 Tribute. This car had a meticulous frame off restoration about 7 years ago with 95% of new parts through the car. Just about every inch of the car was professionally repaired or replaced. At the time of the restoration the car was upgraded to a fully built Big Block 427 with a Demon 850 CFM 4 barrel carb that's pushing out around 400+ HP. The car is fast and not for beginners. The big block was mounted to a Muncie 4 Speed transmission connected to a 12" Clutch with Blow Proof bell housing. All the power from the engine to the wheels is transferred by an aluminum driveshaft to a 12 bolt posi rear with 373 gears. For improved handling Hotchkis full frame connectors were added as well as new front and rear shocks. The 427 sounds amazing with a fully custom Spin Tech dual exhaust system. To keep everything cool the original radiator was also upgraded to a heavy duty Be Cool Aluminum Radiator with high CFM dual electric fans. Power steering was also added for improved handling. With all that power the brakes were upgraded to power disc brakes on all 4 corners. The Interior was also updated with all new interior through. All new front and rear door panels, carpet, new aftermarket competition style adjustable bucket seats, new headliner, dash pad, aftermarket AutoMeter Pro Comp gauges, Retro Sound head unit with AUX compatibilities, speakers, door arm rests, weather-stripping kit through, new billet steering wheel with real wood and a ton of other new misc. parts. All original glass on the car had some minor imperfection from being 50 years old so it was switched out to new green glass through to reduce glare and add extra UV protection. The car was also upgraded with a Vintage Air A/C system that works. Just had it charged in May and It blows cold air and makes the ride more enjoyable on hot summer days. The exterior of the car was also updated with ton of new parts. The body itself is in near excellent condition. Paint shines beautifully. Some imperfections are showing from regular use. All metal panels, most were replaced and a 3" metal cowl hood was added for appearance. New front and rear bumpers were installed along with new markers lights. All new Z28 badges, stainless trim, door handles and other misc. parts. To complete the look a set of American Racing wheels were installed with 215/55/17 in front and 255/35/20 in the rear. The underneath of the car is just as clean. The subframes were sand blasted and coated with rust preventative coating as well as the floors, rear-end and everything else. All new brake lines, gas lines and gas tank. The car drives great and straight as an arrow. Does not pull to a side when braking or accelerating. Starts right up with a turn of a key every time. Goes through all the gears as it should. Gets a ton of attention where ever it goes. I drive the car almost daily weather permitting. Never seen rain while I owned it. Overall this is a great turn key daily muscle car. It's not a perfect show or museum quality car but an above average driver. It was built to be driven and enjoyed. It does have some blemished and imperfection but still looks and sounds amazing. You can't build a car like this today for the price. The car is sold as-is without any warranty.
