Item Description: We are offering a very, very, very rare 1967 Corvette L88 Hood Duct Piece that glues to the underside of the big block hood for the engine air intake, GM part number 3908129. This piece has a story. My late friend purchased this over the counter maybe 50 years ago when GM still offered them. He needed one but GM, in their effort to get rid of a part that hardly anyone ordered because of how rare that engine option was, required that he purchase at least five. So he did. He used one, sold one years later, and I ended up with the last three as part of his estate. I sold one on eBay last year so I have two left, one of which is offered in this listing. Sorry, but if you are doing a 1967 L88 clone, you must have this piece, period. It is GM press molded and has the part number (as well as others?) as part of the molding (see photos). Each one has the piece of tape on it (see photo) with the part number hand written on it. I can only assume this part was so rare, GM didn't bother to have one of their blue and white labels printed up?. It certainly has no damage or deterioration and is ready to install. It is new old stock and a press molded reproduction will never ever be attempted. We priced this one for the same amount we sold the first one for. Don't miss this chance.
