Description: Handsome fold-out 1965 Texaco road map of Florida, printed more than 52 years ago. This map opens to 26½" x 18" and has great detail on old highway alignments in the Sunshine State, with cartography by Rand McNally. There are inset plans of Miami, Daytona Beach, Orlando, and Tallahassee. The map was distributed by Texaco in 1965 and is dated in the legend. The code number in the lower margin is 5-575611-24, and the map locates Texaco service stations on major highways in the state. The cover graphics include a photograph of a sailboat race and the slogan: "Trust your car to the man who wears the star." Condition: This map is in very good condition, bright and clean, with a tiny bit of ink writing on the cover and no rips or tears. Please see the scans and feel free to ask any questions.
