Description: For sale is a working Praktica FX 35mm film camera from the 1950s (Germany) with a 50mm f/2 ISCO-Göttingen Westagon lens included. It has a waist-level through-the-lens viewfinder that you open on the top of the camera. You can use the included/attached flip-up magnifying lens for focus. (Shown in photos). The shutter trigger is on the front of the camera and passes through part of the lens mount. It is a heavier, metal camera with all-mechanical operation. No batteries necessary! There is an exposure chart taped to the back of the camera that someone added (not original, of course!) I am going to leave it on because I don’t want to cause any peeling by removing it. I have shot three rolls of film through this camera. It works! HOWEVER, the mechanics aren’t always reliable. Sometimes you get a sticky shutter or motion blur because the internal mechanics are old and can stick. But that makes for some interesting photos. Not every photo will turn out perfect, but you will make art! I’ve included some photographs from THIS VERY CAMERA for you to see it in action. Examples of what this camera can do. Enjoy! Buyers and bidders must agree to the following: -Shipped USPS Priority Mail with Tracking. -Shipping to the U.S. and Canada -No Returns for this sale. - Any bidders with zero review history will have the sale terminated and payment refunded, if won. Must have a positive buying history on eBay.
