Description: Vintage 23" grocery store doll by Deluxe Reading from the 1950s. These dolls were an inexpensive alternative to department store dolls, yet of similar quality. They were often referred to as grocery store dolls because they were available in supermarkets. This doll has rooted blonde hair and open/close eyes. Her facial coloring is in very good condition. There is some staining on her body that might clean up with a magic eraser. Her dress is red with silver rick-rack. It could use a wash.
