Description: This 1950s right-handed Denkert G52 glove is an improvement over the ones used when professional baseball was getting started. It is a little larger than those that were made in the 1900s. Today's gloves are much larger than the gloves made between 1900 and1950. The glove span (from thumb to last finger) measures 9 inches. Interesting that the name Casey Wise would be found on a glove. He played parts of four seasons, 1957-1960 He played second base or shortstop usually. He played for the Chicago Cubs, Milwaukee Braves, and Detroit Tigers. He was not know for his hitting either. This glove can to be used on the ball field today. It also is a reminder of how things were and how they have changed.
