Description: One of my favorite small portables I have found, and the only Hermes that I have ever had in the shop. This one is legitimately small and would not be out of the question to bring with you to a café. This is the Suisse made "Baby" by Hermes and marked E Paillard. Steel body and case lined with felt. Very compact and solid. Grey paint with subtle red trim. This model has the gullwing ribbon doors. Made near the end of WWII. Original outer case/lid and leatherette carrying bag are included. I would love to know the history of this little typewriter. Display this beauty or write that novel! Condition: All keys are working. The ribbon still works but is vintage and replacements are available online. There is wear to the case/body and chips/paint loss. I have dusted and cleaned it up a bit, it could use a little more TLC but it is working as is. See all photos. Typewriter is only 11 x 11 x 4 inches. It weighs 10lbs 5oz total with case and bag. Serial number 322878 registers as 1944. Packed and shipped with the upmost care. Please let me know if you have any questions, and I will do my best to answer them. Thank you!
