Measurements: 10" x 14" 1946 Philadelphia Whiskey Liquor George Washington Colonial Gadsden Flag Don't Tread Me & Pullman Standard Car Advertisement Print Ad Poster: This 1946 era Philadelphia Whiskey advertisement features the first President and Commander in Chief of the United States among other fellow patriots, raising the legendary Gadsden Flag aka Don't Tread on Me Flag. There is some minor wear along the edge where it was attached to the bind. This could easily be hidden behind the border of a frame when matted and pressed behind glass. There is actually a yellow background block of color surrounding the rounded corner vignette of the S. Greco artist painting with the caption that reads "President Elect Washington Crosses Floating Bridge (Gray's Ferry) On Inaugural Journey, Philadelphia, April 20, 1789". During the scanning process the background color unfortunately was not captured properly as the image appears slightly brighter and therefore the yellow background was whited out. Fortunately, the rest of the advertising detail is presented accurately in the image provided. On the opposite side there is an advertisement for Pullman Standard Train Cars. This would look great in a retro style diner with a locomotive / train theme. It also has minor wear along the edge where it was attached to the magazine bind. *Please note if there is only one of these vintage ads left in stock the condition will vary as follows: This vintage 1946 Philadelphia Whiskey ad is in good shape with light edge wear (including a small missing corner piece in the upper left-hand corner); although there is a narrow water stain that spans most of the top edge of the print; fortunately, most of which can easily be hidden behind a picture frame or framing mat, and only a small portion of it enters into the top blue sky portion of the illustration. There are also two diagonal creases that stretch across the center of the page which should press flat and be hard to detect once placed behind framing glass (none of this mentioned wear is visible in the image provided).
