Description: This is a vintage brochure and price list for Ramsey Creek Kennels of Ramsey, Illinois. They trained and sold hunting dogs, pointers and setters and hounds trained for specific types of game. I found only a few references to this kennel online, both were small ads, one from 1934, and one from the October 1936 issue of Game Breeder and Sportsman. The numerical code at the bottom of the cover of the brochure ends in 7-37, which I suspect means July, 1937. The brochure opens up to a 17 3/4 by 12 inch sheet of black and white photos, and the accompanying price list and order blank gives details of the dogs available and their training and abiliities. Hound sold for as little as $10, Class A pointers and setters were the most expensive at $30. Paper is lightly toned with a few small creases and light wear on the fold lines.
