Description: Up for sale is a wonderful piece of American Broadway Theatre history - a playbill from the Republic Theatre, 42nd Street, "under sole management of David Belasco." "The Woman" was playing at the Republic the week beginning Monday, April 15, 1912. This playbill contains ads from the period, including one for The Actors' Home on Staten Island, Gimbel's, Mogul Egyptian Cigarettes, C/B A la Spirite Corsets, Steinway Pianos, Warner's Rust-Proof Corsets...and many more. Really a fun piece of theatre ephemera, in very good condition for its age, with just a few minor flaws. Please look at the pictures and ask questions before bidding. Also, please check out my other items. My husband and I spent over 30 years collecting and selling at antique shows and now are finding all kinds of treasures in our carriage barn full of stuff to post on eBay. All items are sold as you see them and all sales are final. Payment is expected within 3 days after the end of the auction and I will ship within 3 days of payment. Buyer pays shipping. I purchase postage labels on line so delivery confirmation is free. Ebay will collect and pay appropriate sales tax if you live in a state that requires them to do so.
