Front hinge III and XXXII strained, but firmly held. Front and rear hinges of VI, VII, VIII, IX, XI, XIII, XIV, XVI, XIX, XX and XXVI strained but firmly held. Hinges of XXV strained and tenderly held. Volume XV endpapers renewed. Volume VII front free endpaper lacking. Internally, generally firmly bound. Volume XVI binding strained throughout. Pages generally bright and clean, but with instances of significant spotting and foxing.
