It has large tread blocks that can penetrate the surface of the track to get the grip you need. A special feature of the GRIDIRON is the soft, rounded flank. This allows the tyre to deform and adapt perfectly to the respective track conditions. The deformation increases the contact surface and the grip created. Another feature is the higher density of the tread blocks in the middle of the tread. This results in noticeably better propulsion with less tire wear at the same time. Due to the higher number of profile blocks, the partial surface load of each individual block is significantly lower. Special tread blocks sit on the sides of the tires, which are flattened on one side. This measure prevents the tire from hooking into track grooves and causing the model to offset or even tip over. While in the past the outer tread blocks had to be trimmed by hand, the GRIDIRON comes standard with this feature.
