This material is a part of the Bill Peakes estate, a man recognized locally, nationally and internationally as an avid fly fisherman, fly tyer, bamboo rod restorer and member of the board of the Mission Peak Fly Anglers Fishing Club based in Northern California. I would estimate that 20% of the spools are unused, 40% have at least 80% of their thread left and the remaining, bar 2 or 3, have at least 50% of the thread left. As Bill was a vintage bamboo rod restorer I’m assuming that the tread was correct for the rods he was restoring. Spools have been stored correctly, in a dry environment, and are in great condition. There are 30 spools of Gudebrod of various colors. 44 spools of Pearless Naples Silk, Made in England, 4 spools of Gutermann of West Germany, 11 spools of Belding Corticelli plus several spools of other brands. Total number of spools is 100 including 1 empty wooden spool. Will be shipped in plastic cases shown in the pictures.
