Description: 1 Rare Extra Large Awesome Antique Chestnut Wood Board 11 X 49 X 11/16" Lot X8 Salvaged from an antique 1909 Lindsay organ. It is about 115 years old and highly prized for its wavy grain pattern and natural honey color. It looks somewhat like oak, is considerably lighter and easier to work. One side was wetted with thinner to show the true color of the wood and grain. Chest nut is nearly extinct now and is very hard to come by. This board has been planed and sanded on two sides. Almost impossible to find chestnut in this size. Very clean with just a few worm holes. Thanks so much for looking.
